The Spanish El Gordo draw

All the raffle codes in Spain are drawn as wooden balls from two big machines. In the first draw machine, there are as many balls as there are raffle codes and every ball has a raffle code written on it. In a second draw machine there are as many balls as there are prizes and each ball has a prize amount written on it. A ball is drawn from each draw machine and the codes and corresponding prize amounts are sung out by school pupils. The draw takes around 3.5 hours.
